  • ITENE es un laboratorio acreditado para demostrar la reciclabilidad de los envases de forma experimental.

    ¿Necesitas demostrar la reciclabilidad de los plásticos?

    ITENE ha sido reconocido por RecyClass como primer laboratorio del mundo acreditado para demostrar la reciclabilidad experimental de los envases de poliestireno (PS), mediante el protocolo “RecyClass Recyclability Evaluation Protocol for PS Containers” (Protocolo de evaluación de reciclabilidad Recyclass para envases de PS), que establece una metodología armonizada para probar la reciclabilidad de un producto específico en un flujo de reciclado determinado.
    De este modo, las empresas fabricantes de materias primas o de fabricantes de envase pueden demostrar a través de un laboratorio independiente que el PS empleado en sus soluciones de envasado se puede reciclar.
    Dentro de este protocolo se pueden acreditar tanto las resinas de PS, como los productos de PS que contengan materiales barrera, cargas minerales y aditivos, los sistemas de cierre sin PS, los recubrimientos, liners y válvulas que no sean de PS, etiquetas y sleeves sin PS, adhesivos y tintas.
